Al’ameen awarded best performing commander

The Commander of NHFSS,  Abdullahi Al’ameen has been awarded as the best performing commander.

The award was given during the National security training of Nigeria Hunter and Forest Security Service (NHFSS) across the country 
 in collaboration with National Park Service of Nigeria  at MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

The theme of the training titled:"Approach to combat insecurity in protected areas".

The award was due to his outstanding diligence in the discharge of duties to make Kano forest habitable.

The Commander dedicated the award to all staff of NHFSS in Kano State for their support and also Governor of Kano, Emir of Kano and also his family.

On his part, the Commander General of NHFSS, Amb. Joshua Osatimehin urge all the officers to try and make good use of the training and be dedicated in all they do.

FRSC vows to enforce safety rules, regulations in Kano

Safety By Olufunmi The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has vowed to enforce safety rules and regulations on road users, especially articulated drivers to curb crashes in Kano State. The State FRSC sector Commander, Muhammed Bature, stated this at a town hall meeting on Monday in Kano. He said that the meeting is to address persistent safety and security challenges posed by articulated vehicles. The sector commander urged articulated vehicle drivers to adopt responsible driving habits in a bid to mitigate rising incidents of road crashes and explosions across the state. He decried frequent cases of explosions involving tankers and trailers, describing the situation as a critical issue which is not peculiar to Kano state, but across the country. KNSG train health managers on operational planning, monitoring, evaluation

By Zainab Olufunmi The Kano State Government is training health managers across the 44 local government areas on operational planning, monitoring and evaluation. The Commissioner for Health, Dr Abubakar Labaran, said during the training on Wednesday that the initiative would enhance efficiency of health programmes by equipping managers with the skills to develop realistic plans, track progress and assess outcomes. He added that the training was part of broader efforts to strengthen the state’s health system and improve health indicators.
