FRSC partner NEMA, NSCDC to ensure safer roads, effective emergency response framework

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) said it will partner National Emergency Management Agency and Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) to ensure safer roads, effective emergency response framework in Kano 

The Sector Commander Kano command, CC Umar Matazu, disclose this when he paid a courtesy visit to the two agencies.

He said strategic goals of fostering collaboration and strengthening relationships with critical stakeholders.

This is contained in a statement signed and issued to newsmen by the Public Relations Officer of the Corps, Abdullahi Labaran in Kano.

"This will enhance collaboration between the FRSC and NSCDC and also cement existing cordial relationship between the two sister agencies.

"To achieve the Corps’ Corporate Strategic Goal One: a 5% reduction in road traffic deaths and injuries through enhanced coordination and response strategies", he said.

Matazu said the visit also underscore  FRSC’s commitment to strengthening partnerships

FRSC Pledges to Sustain Working Relationship with Kano NUJ Correspondents' Chapel

By our correspondent  The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kano Sector Command, has expressed readiness to deepening working relationship with Kano State Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) to promote public safety and responsible road. Easter:FRSC urges motorists to adhere to traffic rules to save lives

By our reporter  The Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC) Kano Command has urged all motorists to strictly adhere to traffic rules and regulations in other to prevent road crashes and ensure safety of lives and property. The State FRSC sector commander,Masa'udu Matazu disclosed this in a statement issued by the Command Public Education Officer, Abdullahi Labaran on Friday in Kano. According to the statement,"to ensure effective compliance, the command has deployed it's personnel, patrol vehicles across major highways and strategic routes within the state to facilitate effective smooth operations. The general public should comply with FRSC officers on duty and report any traffic violation or emergencies through the FRSC emergency toll-free line 122",he said in the statement. Matazu also advise motorist to avoid use of phone while driving, stop overloading and obey traffic rules and regulations.
