Easter:FRSC urges motorists to adhere to traffic rules to save lives

The Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC) Kano Command has urged all motorists to strictly adhere to traffic rules and regulations in other to prevent road crashes and ensure safety of lives and property.

The State FRSC sector commander,Masa'udu Matazu disclosed this in a statement issued by the Command Public Education Officer, Abdullahi Labaran on Friday in Kano.

According to the statement,"to ensure effective compliance, the command has deployed it's personnel, patrol vehicles across major highways and strategic routes within the state to facilitate effective smooth operations.

The general public should comply with FRSC officers on duty and report any traffic violation or emergencies through the FRSC emergency toll-free line 122",he said in the statement.

Matazu also advise motorist to avoid use of phone while driving, stop overloading and obey traffic rules and regulations.
