Agriculture: Minister of Water Resources inaugurates farm implementsAgriculture

The Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Prof. Joseph Utsev disclosed this during a working visit on Friday in Kano. The minister inaugurate farm Implements which include eight tractors and four combined harvesters at Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority. Ibrahim Waiya, Executive Director, Citizens for Development and Education (CDE) has stressed the need for journalists to operate within the ethics and laws of their profession. Waiya, spoke at a training organised for reporters on professionalism in journalism through knowledge base reportage in Kano, on Thursday. He noted that journalism profession demands accuracy, fairness and editorial independence among others. He reminded the participants that media houses are currently in a competitive world, hence it’s high time to understand as professionals, to capture the right word when reporting. He said strategic goals of fostering collaboration and strengthening relationships with critical stakeholders. FRSC conduct 3 days orientation, induction for newly harmonize officers

By our correspondent The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) RS1.2 Kano Sector Command has successfully conducted a three days intensive orientation/induction program for 61 newly harmonized Officers from the Command and its component Units.  The program was designed to equip Officers with necessary knowledge and skills to enhance their operational efficiency and align them with  Corps' vision and mandate. Al’ameen awarded best performing commander

Al’ameen awarded best performing commander By our correspondent The Commander of NHFSS,  Abdullahi Al’ameen has been awarded as the best performing commander. The award was given during the National security training of Nigeria Hunter and Forest Security Service (NHFSS) across the country   in collaboration with National Park Service of Nigeria  at MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja. The theme of the training titled:"Approach to combat insecurity in protected areas". The award was due to his outstanding diligence in the discharge of duties to make Kano forest habitable. The Commander dedicated the award to all staff of NHFSS in Kano State for their support and also Governor of Kano, Emir of Kano and also his family. On his part, the Commander General of NHFSS, Amb. Joshua Osatimehin urge all the officers to try and make good use of the training and be dedicated in all they do.
